The Learning Station itself looks like a computer, and is full of Mega Bloks. The "monitor" screen is clear plastic, except for a large embossed happy face. You can see through the "screen" to the bloks on the inside. A wide red lid fits across the top of the "monitor", and makes an excellent foundation for blok-building. The yellow base contains the "learning" part of the Learning Station. The keyboard consists of 6 rainbow-colored, lighted keys. The keys are also bloks -- they too can be used as the foundation for blok-towers. To the right of the keys are a volume-control button and a large red apple. To the left are the on/off button and 4 "Learning Mode" buttons. Above the keys is a long window called the "Activity Window". Six pictures that display in the window correspond with the 6 keys on the keyboard. Pressing down on the apple causes the six pictures in the window to spin (it looks kinda like a slot-machine), changing the "Discovery Theme". The theme determines what happens when the colorful keys are pressed
